Facethe mere Future
THE STORY OF MY LIFE
My name is Rose Anne De Castro Disepeda. I was born on March 24, 1995 at Sitio Malibago, Brgy. Ibabang Cambuga Mulanay, Quezon, where we are currently residing. My parents are both native of Batangas , Manuel L. Disepeda and Sofia A. De Castro. I have 3 brothers namely; Ronald, Roderick, Romnick and Retchie-my only sister.
I grew up with a simple family, under the love and care of my parents, brothers and sister. I feel happy and contented, being the youngest child of the family and satisfied enough, living in a farm where my parents work hard to support our needs.
My childhood memory is not happy as other children’s experiences because I’ve simply enjoyed the company of my playmates, playing with different children’s game in every time I feel bored staying at home. It’s not happy and exciting as others treasured most once in a lifetime, but a slightly boring childhood time. It’s maybe because of different illnesses that threatened me at an early age.
Despite of that, my mother sent me to school at age of 6. I didn’t undergo pre-schooling because my mother was served as my first teacher ever. So, the start of my schooling was directly on grade-1 and that was in Malibago Elementary School. My elementary grade was said to be a challenging one, as I’ve maintained being an honor student of the class who luckily grabbed different academic awards which I truly treasured until now. I’ve graduated elementary on April 2007 as class Valedictorian.
As I entered in my secondary level of schooling at Bagupaye National High School, different changes took place. I’ve met new faces, which at first I could hardly determine if I could be their friend or not. But for the four years, we’ve been together, I’m very thankful of having them. I really treasured the memories we’ve shared in the four corners of our room, which served as our home for five days in a week. I’ve joined on different school activities especially on academic tilt such as Quiz bee and Spelling Bee Competition wherein I’ve learned a lot on how to be a competitor. I’ve also handled positions in different organizations but the most exciting one, is being member of the school publication. During that time my attention was really focused in studying and less on having leisure time with friends. And I have no regrets, because not only my knowledge and skills are being developed but at the same time I bagged different awards and still maintained being an honor student of the class. Luckily, I’ve graduated as Valedictorian of the class on April 2011.
After my graduation on high school, my parents have no plan yet, to send me in college because of financial problems, but God heard my prayers, and luckily there is someone who offers a financial assistance for my tuition fee in every semester. So my parents were convinced to enroll me in college, knowing that I can be thrifty just to finish my study. And that’s true, because there are times that I have nothing to do, but to pray and ask God to give me strength in facing the hardships- specifically in financial needs. College life is full of adjustments with regards to subject areas, class schedules and some other school activities, very different compared before. But still, I stay strong and determined to reach the door of success, that’s why here I am now, continually striving on another chapter of the book of my life, pursuing my chosen field which is a bachelor’s degree in Elementary education here at PUP Mulanay Campus. I’ve also joined on different school activities and continue to enhance my writing skills, being the member of the school publication. It makes me more competent and confident that I can be an effective teacher in the near future.
I am now a graduating student and I hope that my future will lead me into the right path, which I am wishing to walk through. I want to have a stable job, so that I can help my family, in returned to their unending supports and sacrifices in financial and moral aspect from birth up to now. I’m aiming for a brighter future not only for my own sake, but for my no.1 inspiration which is my “family”.
